Every time my kids see a guitar, they think about their daddy. Whenever they see a quilt, it reminds them of Mimi. I’m not quite sure what makes them think of me…perhaps chocolate??? 😉
Take the I Spy Prayer Challenge– Let your kids pick something that reminds them of the ones they love. Then, every time you see those things, take a minute to pray for others.
This can be especially fun if you choose landmarks or things you might see while in the car, or even on billboards. So take a trip, say some prayers, and teach your kids to think of others– all in the course of a day’s drive. (Special thanks to my friend Carrie for the idea!)
It reminds me of this verse…
“I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.” Ephesians 1:16
I always get warm fuzzier when I hear that passage!
How do you help your kids pray? Let us know in the comments below!

Awesome idea! It is so easy to get overwhelmed with your own issues and forget to pray for others. Will definitely try this!
