My favorite thing about Christmas is counting down and anticipating the big day with advent plans. They make celebrating Jesus’ arrival so much more meaningful! The problem is that even though we start with great intentions, the busyness of the holiday season can waylay even the best plans. Sometimes we get sick at the holidays. Life just happens.
Find an advent plan that you love! Click To TweetI encourage you to find an advent plan that you love. There are numerous fantastic advent plans out there! But if you know that this year is busy and you want to be realistic, or if you want to go about your ordinary activities and add extra meaning to them, I hope you will get a copy of The Road to Jesus.
You might want to consider the Road to Jesus advent if:
- You would like a short advent designed to add significant meaning to the many activities you will probably already be doing this season like decorating the Christmas tree, singing carols, and buying or making gifts.
- You already have another advent that you love, but want something that could easily be done alongside it.
- You want to consider the path it took Jesus to come to earth. You want to think about the path it took others to reach him. You will imagine what it was like for Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and wisemen. You will talk about what it takes for us to have a relationship with Jesus today.
- You value choice. Aside from traditional activities, there are a few simple extra activities suggested too. There are extra activities listed so that you can choose what is most meaningful to you, without feeling the pressure to do them all.
The Road to Jesus is available for free to all my email subscribers. Simply subscribe in the sidebar or in the popup window on the bottom right. Once you confirm your desire to subscribe, you will receive an email with a downloadable link and the password for the Minivan Ministries Subscriber Perks page. You can use your password each week to get future monthly freebies. My goal is to provide you with great resources as you disciple your children. Enjoy this season of advent!

Thank you for the plan! We had our church’s Advent Night on Sunday, making family wreaths and engaging in some other crafts. Someone asked me if the church had an Advent plan and I said we didn’t. Glad to know where to find one!
