Holiday nature studies are like a breath of fresh air. There is something about the smell of pine that almost has the power to center your soul.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
let the field exult, and everything in it!
Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy
before the Lord” Psalm 96:11-13a ESV
Cranberries
I had the privilege of writing a post, Nature Activities for the Holidays, for Life of a Homeschool Mom. I focussed on activities you can do with cranberries. It is part of a very special series called The ABCs of Homeschooling Through the Holidays. I hope that you will check it out and enjoy a little cranberry-themed fun and learning!

We love to identify birds by their sounds and see if we can find them. I love birds and at Christmas time we make lots of pinecone bird seed treats and out on the trees.
