What is your favorite online activity for kids?
We love to use powtoons to shake up those boring reports and then we upload to YouTube and share on Facebook. Can’t wait to check this out too. Although I understand when homeschool Mama’s are hesitant about letting there kids get on the computer, I also think about the technology times that we are living in. We have to guide them and let the gifts God has for them develop and it may be that He will use them in that techie field.
Yes, Powtoons is the one I was talking about. I try to limit the computer use too, but mainly just make sure that most of the time they are on it, they are doing something somewhat constructive. I love that you pointed out that God gifts people in technological ways. It definitely can be used for God’s glory.
I hadn’t heard of this before now. Unit studies can be a great way to learn in a homeschool for the kids AND the teaching parent.

I will definitely have to look into the free Memorial Day unit! We always try to volunteer to put out flags for Memorial Day at our local National Cemetery. It would be neat to have a unit to go with our activity!

This is the first time I heard of this. It sounds really great. My kids are always wanting to play on the computer and I love finding things where they can learn through play.

This looks awesome. Although I’m not homeschooling my boys, I am always on the look out for educational activities for them. I do love that we can use technology as a tool in educating our children. Its important that they learn to be children and know how to live in a technology filled world. 🙂 I’ll check it out and may just pass it on to a few friends.
