There was a time when I carried a notebook with me everywhere … [Read more...]

The Spiritual Seeds Planner

Who is ready for a new year?  It’s time to start planning!  One of my mottos is Benjamin Franklin’s famous quote, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.”  The same is true of our spiritual lives. When we make a plan and commit to growing spiritually, God will bring the results.  Here is a tip for spiritual planning for the new year... The … [Read more...]

Finding My Someday Now

Finding My Someday Now

This may sound shocking coming from a Christian blogger, but sometimes I struggle with my quiet time with God.  I’m a hands-on person. Sitting still can be a challenge. I keep saying that “someday” I’ll be better. Maybe I won’t be so busy.  I’m reminded of the popular phrase, “If the Devil can’t make you bad, he will make you busy.” Whether it’s … [Read more...]

Faith. It’s important all the time, but in this Faith. It’s important all the time, but in this season of uncertainty, it feels even more important. I keep asking God to change my heart if what I want is not what he has for me, but the pull just keeps getting stronger. I am certain of what I hope for. It’s a struggle to be just as certain that He will provide it. But He is faithful even when we are not. Thank goodness! So we will praise Him in the storm...and wait. #faith #waitingplace #godisgood #hewillprovide
