Want to know what the hottest fashion trend is right now? T-shirts! Even though t-shirts are quite the trend, that’s not the reason everyone will be wearing T-shirts for a cause this Easter.
Forget the Frock
I’ve been planning on rolling out some new T-shirt designs. When I heard about Forget the Frock, I realized there is no time like the present. Easter will be here before we know it. Forget the Frock encourages you to buy a t-shirt to support your favorite ministry or charity instead of the fancy traditional Easter attire. Everyone will be wearing T-shirts for a cause this Easter. (Well, maybe not everyone. Can you imagine the faces of certain people when you walk into church on Easter wearing a t-shirt?!) In spite of some disapproving glances, some churches are getting behind the cause.
The Reason Everyone Will Be Wearing T-shirts for a Cause This Easter
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 ESV
The reason that everyone will be wearing t-shirts for a cause this easter is that Jesus loves a good cause! His entire life was the ultimate cause. The best thing about the Forget the Frock t-shirts is that each shirt goes to support an important cause–assisting orphans all over the world or possibly helping bring an end to human trafficking. Those are great causes!

Our cause here at Minivan Ministries is to help make Jesus the driving force in your family. Our passion is helping young parents understand the importance of being intentional in discipling their children in an increasingly anti-Christian culture. Buying a T-shirt from Minivan Ministries is a fun and practical way to support us. Unfortunately the resources it takes to run our website are not free. We appreciate you helping us cover the cost of running the website and enabling us to spread God’s message for families. We have so many ideas of how we want to grow this ministry and your support helps make it possible. Thank you so much for considering it.
My Daughter Has a Cause As Well
You may have recently read a post from my daughter, Gemma, who has a heart for the homeless. She helped design a few t-shirts for her cause as well. Check out Do Something, Feed My Sheep, and Give Hope for her designs. If you purchase one of her designs, half of the profit will go to a local homeless ministry, Lambscroft. You can read more about her, her cause, and her other projects. Kids can make a huge difference!
Pick Your Cause
Everyone will be wearing a T-shirt for a cause this Easter. (Well almost everyone. At least some people.) Will you? It doesn’t matter which cause you choose to support, I just hope that you might join in the fun this Easter. If not, I totally understand. I love dressing my family up and getting cute Easter photos!
There are 364 other days of the year that you could wear a T-shirt for a cause. Grab a shirt and have fun making a difference no matter what the day!
What is your favorite cause to support? I would love to see you post photos of you in your T-shirt on our Minivan Ministries Meet-up Facebook Group!

What an interesting concept! I don’t see myself going to church casual, but definitely prefer to have my purchases helping others when it is possible.

A friend of mine participated in Forget the Frock last year and it really stood out to me! Love that you are doing this and making it known, and of course, for your heart of serving others!

Thanks for sharing. I don’t know anyone personally who has done it yet, so we might be a spectacle!

If I were to buy one of those shirts, I would wait until after the holiday. I don’t think my pastor would be too excited about me wearing a t-shirt on a Sunday morning….

We have a mix of casual and dressy attire at our church on Sunday mornings, but Easter morning, it’s usually very dressy. I don’t wear t-shirts to church, and this year won’t be any different. However, I do change my profile picture on Facebook with causes sometimes. Like Christmas, and I hope to do that for Easter too.

I love this! and definitely something our family can get behind. Specially when getting my kids to dress up is like dragging them to a funeral.

Another great idea. Graphic tees are really on trend in the fashion world, so why not support a cause while you are looking fashionable. Love! – Amy
